Vedarth Vigyanam

The Vedas constitute the most profound and mysterious science of creation of the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul. It is through the Vedic hymns or vibrations that the entire universe and the bodies of living beings are formed from the primal nature. Not only does each and every hymn reveal this mysterious science, but so does each and every word. To unveil this science, our great sages composed the Brahmanas and works like the Nirukta. Without understanding these great texts, no one can comprehend Vedic knowledge and science. These texts offer a glimpse into the extraordinary and profound wisdom of those great sages, unveiling the mysteries of Vedic science. The Nirukta, composed by the great seer Yaska, the supreme visionary of the Vedas, is itself a mysterious text.

My expository work titled Vedartha-Vijnanam is an attempt to reveal those very mysteries. Following Vedavijnana-Aloka, this is the second foundational text for understanding the Vedas. I hope that upon reading it, not only mature Vedic scholars and learned women, brahmacharis and brahmacharinis of gurukulas, and professors and students of universities, but the entire young generation will also grasp the true essence of the Vedas.
